Every time I try to open my work email account on my home PC (Sony Vaio), it
keeps crashing Internet Explorer with the following error message:-

I have tried, to no avail, to follow the instructions in terms of updates,
etc...... The work email account is meant to be able to be opened on any PC
with internet access and I have had no problems on other PCs. I am running
Windows Vista Home Premium.

Thanks

Have you tried running IE7 in its no-addons mode?

Right-click on the IE desktop icon and select no-addon mode from
context menu. Or run "iexplore.exe -extoff" (you might have to
include the path to the executable).

Thanks for the reply - that stopped it hanging, but now the emails won't
appear, although I can click on each of the mail folders listed on the left
hand side of the screen..... a step forward, but not quite there yet!
