I'm having a problem with IE7, i'm behind a proxy which needs authentication
so everytime I open IE i've to key in the details, why wont IE7 remember my
details? theres no "remember my pass" checkbox in that dialog. whereas
in my friends laptop he has "IE6" it remembers his details. there is a
option in it to remember the password. is there anyway to make IE7
remembar my userid and pass..........

Hello,

when IE 'asks' for your log-in details, where do you type them in? In
Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings or elsewhere?

hi there
thanks for the reply, When I open IE and type in some address for eg.
microsoft.com it'll display a log-in dialog box before opening the website
so I have to enter my login details in it . I want internet explorer 7 to
remember my login info so that I wont have to enter them everytime I open the
browser.
